Einen schönen Wochenstart wünsche ich euch! Heute gibt es wunderbare Hochzeitsimpressionen direkt aus der kalifornischen Sonne. Pink, Rosé und Weiß sind die Hauptfarben dieser Sommerhochzeit, die von der Fotografin Lacie Hansen festgehalten wurde. Das ist übrigens eines der schönsten Dinge am Bloggen, der weltweite Austausch mit den Fotoprofis… Dadurch bekommt man super Einblicke in andere Hochzeiten und wird überschüttet mit Inspirationen. So wie hier mit dem wunderschönen Altar, der mit großen Stoffbahnen zum Hingucker wird. Schlicht, einfach und dabei sehr elegant. Lacie fotografiert übrigens mit Film, was für eine wärmere Atmosphäre auf den Fotos sorgt. San Ysidro Ranch Wedding Part I ~ w/ Twine Events & Desi Baytan Photography
This beautiful wedding happened last December and will go down as one of my favorite all time events. I LOVED working with this bride. She had an outside of the box color palette in mind but wanted it mixed with classic and beautiful details. Right up my alley. I really had so much fun with her, designing style board, after style board, honing into exactly what it was that she wanted. But she also gave me creative freedom which is so important. And I think shows in your end product. This wedding, to me, ended up looking effortlessly beautiful, natural, and timeless.
Another reason I loved this wedding so much is I got to work with my friend, and planner extraordinaire, Erica España of Twine Events. I always know if Erica is on board, the event will first of all be beautiful, and second, be executed to perfection by the calmest woman with effortless charm and grace. I can’t say enough good things about her. She also got our pal Amber Moon of Pitbulls & Posies on board who created a classically beautiful invite suite. Everything that lady does is gold.
Because Desi Baytan Photography did such an amazing job (as always) and there were way too many beautiful photographs to choose from, I’m featuring this wedding in two posts. Today is Part I and I’ll post Part II on Thursday. The bride and groom were married at the Santa Barbara Courthouse and had their reception at San Ysidro Ranch. You really couldn’t ask for two more beautiful locations. And the icing on the cake? This wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty today. My first feature on their main page, and a real wedding at that! Yippie! 😉
