‘Marrying Millions’ Couple Sean Lourdes and Megan Thomas Share Their Wedding Album
Sean Lourdes and Megan Thomas are rich in love. The Marrying Millions couple exchanged vows in an intimate California wedding that aired during the finale of the new Lifetime series on September 11. The show follows six couples who come from extremely different financial situations. Lourdes, 36, is the millionaire director of The Lourdes Foundation. Thomas, 25, comes from a working-class family in California.
The couple met when Thomas, a model, was studying at the University of California in Los Angeles. She applied for a position at The Lourdes Foundation, and her application immediately caught Lourdes’ attention. “I was already super impressed by her resume—she was on the Dean’s List at UCLA, was the Valedictorian of her high school, and was even signed with Elite Models, among other impressive accomplishments,” Lourdes tells The Knot.
After Lourdes spent a year-and-a-half of pursuing Thomas, they finally met to get a drink. “We had an immediate, intense and real connection from the moment we met, and we’ve been inseparable ever since,” he says. “The rest is history.” – via The Knot

A Garden Chic Santa Barbara Wedding
Alexy and Ed had the most perfect summer wedding ever in Santa Barbara, California. Their elegant garden wedding started off with the prettiest + intimate backyard ceremony, followed up by a dreamy reception at La Cumbre Country Club.
The garden chic design came together with white blooms and loads of greenery, along with wood accents and soft candlelight. The bride looked radiant in her gorgeous lace Oscar De La Renta gown, while her bridesmaids wore custom dresses in nude. So pretty! Megan Sorel photographed all the love in action, so enjoy her gorgeous photos below and grab a closer look in the full gallery.
Styled by Nicole (makeup) and Emma (hair) using THM Hair Extensions.

A Magical Malibu Wedding Overlooking the Pacific Ocean
Wedded bliss? Check. A majestic view of the Pacific Ocean atop Malibu? Um yes, check. And a feature in the eponymous Brides Magazine (August/September print issue)? Check (we are honored and humbled). Read below for an excerpt of this awe-inspiring ceremony and celebration…
Caroline Cuse knew just what her ideal wedding locale looked like, though she wasn’t entirely sure it existed. “I grew up hiking the hills around Los Angeles and dreamed of getting married overlooking the ocean,” says the photographer and floral designer. By her side in the search? Sean Duncan, a financial technology strategist, whom she met in 2009 while both were students at Harvard. Hailing from the UK, Sean had never been to Southern California before he met Caroline, but soon fell in love with its wild landscape too. In 2016, he proposed on a hike in the Santa Monica Mountains.
The couple looked at venues, but nothing felt quite right until Caroline received a text from her mother that simply read, “I think I found it.” Attached was a photo of a lush, grassy hill in Malibu with views of the Pacific. “It was perfect,” she says, but the remote area had no infrastructure, so everything from electricity to decor had to be imported to Black Sage Mesa, named to reflect the abundance of the aromatic evergreen on the site.
