A Romantic and Fanciful Santa Ynez, CA Wine Country Wedding
The romance of a Wine Country wedding rarely disappoints. The light always seems to illuminate exactly right, the landscape compels a deeply held and joyfully exhaled breath, and the colors seem grander even in comparison. So when the founder of Flutter Magazine was planning her wedding, she teamed up with industry mavens Joy Proctor, Jose Villa, and Amy Osaba to create and capture this stunning Santa Ynez celebration. From Event Designer, Joy Proctor, “The color palette reflected Kim’s style through and through, with warm watermelon, coral, and sunset tones paired against taupes and creams as a nod to their engagement in Tuscany. To evoke the playful yet elegant aesthetic that Kim is so known for, we used a beautiful watercolor crest designed by Monvoir, complete with florals and butterflies throughout the suite…As a nod to their Italian engagement, Kim and Tyson wanted to share an al fresco dining experience with their guests. To create an intimate environment we built a beautiful structure draped in taupe fabric over two rows of dining tables. Florals and greenery grew up the structure organically, while Tuscan style chandeliers hung down the center. Linen chairs and wooden tables added to the Tuscan feel, while artisanal breads, olive oil, fruits and flowers created for a lush, edible tabletop.” How incredibly lovely…

TEAM Styling the Runway at New York Bridal Fashion Week
TEAM headed off to New York for Bridal Fashion Week, at the runway and behind-the-scenes ready. Styling hair and makeup for inspiring bridal designers Anne Barge and Justin Alexander was the icing on the cake; a definite New York Moment. And to see our work come to life as it mingles with exquisite and spellbinding artistry is one very key reason why we love doing what we do. Check out some of the highlights from both shows. Justin Alexander latest features clean cut-outs and abstract beading…including crepe, organza jacquard, buttery satin and Mikado create clean gowns, and unique detailing… The design team experimented with soft construction and illusion bodices with fine detailing to balance comfort and striking appeal.
Anne Barge, the vintage-inspired epitome of classic bridal style with a contemporary twist, gives this Spring collection her take on the picture perfect gown. From Vogue, “Here, she expanded her horizons with low-back dresses, some with whisper-light treatments like reembroidered Alençon lace on tulle, that were easy to imagine at a destination wedding in Portofino or St. Barth’s. Barge’s channeling of the ’60s—Françoise Hardy was on the soundtrack, Bardot bands were in the hair—was a win, whether you are team Bouvier or Hepburn.” See for yourself…
