This sweet bride and groom said “I do” on top of a helipad with 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains. The wedding day design could be described as understated, refined, and clean with white, creams, blush and hints of black and deep navy.

From photographer Tenth & Grace via Style Me Pretty … When you live in the public eye, the thought of planning a huge wedding in front of hundreds of people can be pretty overwhelming. That’s exactly why our bride – a popular morning news anchor – wanted her wedding to be small and very private. The couple decided on an intimate elopement at Belmond El Encanto in Santa Barbara with only their photographer, videographer, and officiant in attendance.
Belmond El Encanto is the perfect venue for a romantic elopement – it is private and secluded, tucked above in the hills of Santa Barbara with sweeping views down to the ocean. After getting ready in their suite, the bride and groom exchanged vows on the terrace. The couple took additional portraits at Butterfly Beach in Montecito before enjoying their private dinner back at the hotel. All the details that they planned came together perfectly, and – most importantly – their day was just about them!

From the Photographer… When I think of planning a wedding personally I like to think of colors that would work with all seasons! When TOAST Santa Barbara and I got together we decided early on that we were striving to show brides an earthy feel with a hint of boho goodness that would be acceptable for any season. The warm earthy tones accented by brass, pinks, purples, and touches of blue bring out any season on an effortless level. Simple organic beauty found within nature is key when it comes to a multi season look if I do say so myself. The shoot took place at a private estate over looking Santa Barbara – it was the perfect escape for the shoot, bringing it full circle, embracing the soft sounds of nature and breeze. And personally, if I could have dinner on this mountain top everyday, I would.
