Editors are Gushing Over This Romantic Sunstone Wedding

By |2017-10-26T19:57:52-06:00October 26th, 2017|Featured, Featured Press, Real Wedding|

There are a lot of swoon-worthy weddings in the books. We here at TEAM can attest to that. And this Sunstone wedding has topped editor’s favorites for good reason. The floral design, the ambience, the backdrop, the beautiful couple…Gosh, all of it. What a stunner.

From Style Me Pretty, Charmed with old world elegance, masterfully considered design, and the classic romance of stone, hand-hewn beams from Queen Elizabeth’s rose garden, and brooding tones of natural light pouring into every room, Sunstone Winery provides the perfect setting for a timeless wedding. Brett and Sarah’s day was no exception. The ceremony took place under the live oak, surrounded by the property’s vineyard, and followed by the reception in the backgrounds of the estate.

An Artistic California Coast Ranch Wedding

By |2017-09-24T14:36:22-06:00September 24th, 2017|Featured, Real Wedding|

artistic california coast ranch wedding

The free spirited, artistic touches from this lovely California coast ranch wedding has our hearts fluttering and inspired. And oh! That veil!

From the Bride…I wanted every last detail of my wedding to evoke emotions from our guests and ultimately myself as well. That was my vision. If I wasn’t moved by something when wedding planning, I’d cut or rework it. I used that as my gut check throughout the process. We got married in wintertime at Rancho Dos Pueblos outside Santa Barbara, California. It was very important to me that the color palette and style fit both the region and the season. We chose stark, ivory whites, bright pops of burnt orange and citrusy corals with dark, moody greens, and we asked our guests to wear their version of winter whites as well. I felt it was essential that our wedding feel cohesive but not over-styled.

Go-to song/TV show/movie…
I don’t have just one song, show, or movie that is my go-to. I love all forms and kinds. One of my favorite things to do is watch YouTube. Here I can watch all my favorite shows, listen to music, and learn all kinds of new things. Youtube Is my go-to because there is a vast array of content and I can access it on my own time.
If you could work on any wedding anywhere in the world, what would it be?
This is such a hard question because there are so many places in the world I would love to visit. If I were to come up with a top 3 (in no particular order) it would be: France, Japan, England. These are 3 countries I haven’t been to that are on my bucket list.
Thanks, Marla!

A Colorful Floral Infused California Wedding

Floral infused California wedding

From a ceremonial color palette of blush and pops of pastel to a celebratory reception drenched in bright vibrant colors with lush greenery and gold, this Belmond El Encanto wedding gushed breathtaking romance. Beyond swoon-worthy florals and event design by Camellia Floral Design and Danae Grace Events, respectively, made this gala one for the books.

I relished in making every detail memorable – for us and our friends and family. When I first sat down with Danae Pearce, with Danae Grace Events, my wedding planner, she instantly understood my style and dream design. We really wanted to create something that complimented the El Encanto and its gorgeous ceremony site, including a wisteria-lined lily pond and brick courtyard. Our inspiration became “a timeless, elegant, romantic affair with breathtaking details” full of florals and pops of color…

Danae was able to capture our inspiration in every fashion. On the day of the wedding, as my dad and I approached the bridge covered with rose petals built over the pond to serve as our aisle, I looked into Itai’s eyes and my heart was full. A bridge covered with rose petals was built over the pond and served as our aisle. The sun shone; it was 75 degrees; gorgeous flowers in shades of blush and pink surrounded us in all directions; and we could feel the love and support as we said our vows in front of those who mean the most to us.

Absolutely stunning.

Claire Pettibone’s California Dreamin’ Bridal Collection

Claire Pettibone's California Dreamin' Bridal Collection

Daydreaming breezy lace gowns, wildflowers in abundance, that sunshine glow at the heart of California sea and landscapes…get ready for some serious jaw-dropping beauty from Claire Pettibone’s ethereal new California Dreamin’ bridal collection.

From Claire Pettibone… I love the eclectic style and freedom we have in California. Designing this collection of gowns inspired by my home state, I wanted to keep the dresses feminine but with a relaxed, easy vibe. The bohemian look has always been a favorite of mine…I was raised by artist parents, so it must be in the genes!

For this shoot, we headed out to a Malibu ranch for a quintessential day in the sun. We kept the styling to a bare minimum, just natural beauty and a few fresh picked wild flowers were all we needed.

Effortless beauty is something I think we all try to emulate. Like, “yeah, I woke up like this.” Coachella, Laguna, Carmel…these names just conjure a certain vibe that sounds like a really great party, a wedding that you wouldn’t want to miss!

Colorful and Environmentally Conscious San Ysidro Ranch Wedding

By |2017-07-03T18:36:56-06:00July 3rd, 2017|Featured, Real Wedding|

colorful and environmentally conscious San Ysidro Ranch wedding

We here at TEAM believe that enhancing a bride’s unique natural beauty allows for her most luminous self to emanate. It’s really our stylists’ sole purpose when working with brides and, too, runway and fashion models alike. We all glow when we are confidently who we are. Case in point, this lovely bride (above) and her colorfully designed wedding with an environmentally conscious theme. Here’s what their event designer Alegria by Design has to share about this charming fete, as featured on Style Me Pretty

For Julie and Peter’s Santa Ysidro Ranch Wedding, it had to be romantic, casual yet refined, with the vibe of their free spirits woven throughout every decision and detail. As an ecologically minded couple, it was decided that as little paper as possible was to be used. Hand-lettered monstera leaves for menus and lemon leaves for escort cards were created by Santa Barbara designer, Sophia Uretz of Sophia Loves Letters.

For their wedding ceremony in the round, floral designer Michael Mantalos of LouLoudi Design Studio created a distressed birch canopy with natural grapevine woven throughout as a focal piece. The canopy was then laden with herbs, garden roses, and abundant field flowers spilling and climbing throughout. Lavender plants and distressed clay pots with flowering annuals finished off the magical garden design. An ombre petal carpet in blues and purples covered the ceremony floor.

After enjoying cocktails in the ranch’s citrus and herb garden, guests were welcomed to an intimate dinner in the hydrangea cottage and inner courtyard. Feasting tables of bright blue mandala linens and fragrant garden roses greeted guests, while hypnotic sounds of Brazilian jazz filled the night air.

Dreams do come true!
