In a most spectacular sharing of two cultures merging in wedded union, this bride and groom do it right. Seamlessly blending Mexican and Arabic traditions with culinary delights, special dances, music and-of course- style; love couldn’t help but nestle in.

Photographer Luna de Mare offers this lovely perspective, “Located along the Central Coast of California, Sunstone Villa & Winery in Santa Ynez is the perfect backdrop for the wedding of your dreams. The peachy hues of French limestone, and lush grape vines in the vineyard offer a beautiful landscape as a setting for an al fresco experience. Melva & Ali chose to incorporate both their cultures into a blended affair, featuring Mariachis and Arabic Dancers. Their Ceremony took place at the Villa’s two giant Oak trees, with cascading Florals and Olive leaves in front of their closest friends and family, with a nod to both cultures.”

See how this heart-filled celebration, featured on Style Me Pretty, delights the senses.

Sun and sky Fall wedding palette featured on Style Me Pretty

How can one possibly recreate the sun and the sky for a starring role into a wedding color palette? These images with notes of peach, light blue, and hints of sea foam, photographed by Jose Villa, show you just how it’s done. Joy Proctor shares the inspiration behind Paola and Jon’s exquisite Sunstone Winery wedding…

Paola was inspired by the natural beauty of the Sunstone Villa and chose a color palette of warm sunset tones of peach and light blue to compliment it… A large wooden board with light blue seating charts greeted guests as they made their way into the reception on the lawn. Guests sat at wooden tables covered in lush floral arrangements with beautiful hand dyed sea foam runners.

Al fresco Ojai, California wedding featured on Style Me Pretty

In this Style Me Pretty feature, we get a peek into a glamorous wedding… with a modern twist… and a touch of magic. The go-to California favorite, Ojai Valley Inn, set the stage for a picture perfect celebration. The bride shares how they incorporated lovely and sentimental details to further enhance its magical outdoorsy theme:

Although we wanted to have our reception indoors to avoid any nighttime noise restrictions, we really wanted the ballroom to incorporate many of the natural elements that make Ojai such a gorgeous place. Our florist, Camille, did an amazing job of coming up with fun ways to do this, from draping greenery from the chandeliers and bringing in large, beautiful olive trees and various shrubbery to frame the dance floor, to using lush, neutral florals with different textures in planters behind our furniture vignettes. Additionally, since we had opted for black tie attire, we wanted to combine a few traditional elements like my mom’s silver platters on our escort table and gold-rimmed glassware, with more organic components such as long wood tables, and small arrangements of fruit on the tables. And our wedding planners were 100% right that having great lighting was key to highlighting these details and completely transformed the room to give it a magical, outdoorsy feel.

We are beyond thrilled to be in the spotlight on Style Me Pretty as their featured hair and makeup artist vendor. Choosing just the right team to help create and enhance your most meaningful life celebrations is huge. We get that. Style Me Pretty gets it, too. Which is why their sparkly new Vendor Guide + Portfolios is a game-changer. We here at TEAM are honored to be a part of the fete.

And could we ask for a more gracious + honeyed testimony from the founder of Style Me Pretty herself? Swoon…

“There are few things that I could say about Mar Romero and her TEAM that haven’t already been said. She is loved. She is respected. She is pure and honest talent. But she’s also so much more. Mar Romero works from her soul. She pushes herself to be better every single day, she questions the norm, knowing that she can always make something or someone more beautiful than they ever hoped. She cultivates her artistry with the kind of thoughtful care that you only get to see in those who are truly doing what they love.” –Abby Larson, Founder of Style Me Pretty
