These dresses (from our regional edition of The Knot Magazine 2014 Fall/Winter issue) prove that one way to pull off a beautiful, elegant wedding day look is to find a wedding dress with unexpected details. We’re talking fabric with unique textures, decadently embellished accessories like capes or hair pieces, and even colorful wedding dresses in shades of subtle blue and wow-worthy pink. To complete the romantic woodland wedding style, we mixed in overgrown flower arrangements like unstructured bouquets and flower crowns (by Flowerwild) and kept the models pretty with natural makeup and unfussy hairstyles (a la Mar Romero).
