For weeks and weeks, we have been busy little bees. Behind the scenes piecing together what we think will be the most beautiful digital magazine you’ve ever seen. With ideas so approachable, so chic, so butterfly inducing you’ll have to remind yourself to put the magazine down and start trying them for yourself. It’s our first ever Fashion & Beauty e-mag with pages upon pages of the most inspired ideas ever. Like really ever.
Aside from having 10 of the most beautiful weddings a style savvy girl could ever want that capture the Style Me Pretty bride to a T, we also have a Beauty School feature with styling by Mar Romero and photography by Jose Villa. We have 5 fabulous (and crazy easy) DIY projects that look and feel like the real ($$) deal. We have oh, SIX style guides crafted by your favorite bloggers on the planet and so so so much more. Beauty Shoot Featured on Style Me Pretty!
A day at Style Me Pretty is always a good one, full of beautiful imagery and heart melting wedding moments. But some days are beyond our wildest dreams good. The kind of days where we get to share our newest magazine project packed to the gills with drool-worthy fashion and top it off with a really awesome GIVEAWAY (Just wait until you see what we have up our pretty sleeve). Ok, ok, we’ll give you a sneak peek.
This is just such a day and it is all about ournewest e-mag installment which is not only boasting a whole lot of real wedding goodness and DIY projects galore but also includes a photo shoot collaboration from some of our favorites in the biz; Jose Villa who knows the way to our image loving hearts and Mar Romero + Janeena Balerria of TEAM Hair and Makeup, the make-up artists with the golden touch. Together they’ve crafted a tale of beautiful fashion met with the perfect beauty how to all packed into the pages of the Bridal Fashion & Beauty E-Magazine.

Real Jewish Wedding Featured on The Wedding Yentas
So excited to be featured on the Jewish weddings blog, The Wedding Yentas!

Rachel and David were married on August 6, 2011 at her family’s Santa Barbara estate. Their wedding was elegant, chic, and true to the bride and groom’s modern yet classic style. David wore a slim-fitting charcoal gray suit with black converse and a skinny black tie, and Rachel wore a strapless sweetheart dress that featured pewter-colored crystal beading detailing on bodice, a metallic pewter belt and a modern, tattered A-line skirt. The entire outdoor estate was utilized for the affair. The ceremony took place in a courtyard, cocktails and hor d’erves were enjoyed around the pool area in the back, and dinner was served along the long, green front lawn. Banquet tables lined the lawn with splashes of merlot and burgundy flowers atop, popping against the tranquil backdrop of the Santa Barbara landscape. Modern lanterns suspended from the huge chandelier tree hung over the dance floor as overhead string bulbs lit the blue evening sky. It was a great time with close friends, excellent food and wine, awesome music, and most of all, a bride and groom madly in love with one another.

Exclusive: Style Me Pretty Shares Bridal Beauty Tips

Now that wedding season has started, one of our favorite bridal inspiration blogs, Style Me Pretty, is about to release a new edition of its digital magazine. The issue doesn’t go live until next Monday, June 18, but we got an exclusive sneak peek with this pretty snapshot and accompanying beauty tutorial. Here’s how to recreate the look for yourself:
1. Get smoldering, smoky eyes with Nars creme shadow in Lido or Lil Marlene. Apply all over the lid, up to the crease of the eye. Generously add Night Clubbing by Nars to the lid. Take a blending shadow blush such as Nars Shader Brush #3 and only smudge around the outside of the darkest color, blending the outline of the lid into the crease. Line your upper and lower water line (that’s the inside of the eye) with Waterproof Aqua Black gel liner by Make Up Forever. Finish it with thick fake lashes and a layer of your favorite mascara.
2. Soft cheeks are a must! Apply a pale peach blush such as Douceur by Nars, giving just a spot of color the the outside of the cheekbone. Add MAC Matte Bronzer to the hollow part of the cheek for a more defined look.
3. Lips should be nude! Try Giorgio Armani’s Plums or Beige lipstick and apply a soft, shimmery gloss like Sugar from Bobbi Brown.
